Wade adores Heath. They have their moments where they fight for their right for the toy, or to have their turn, or be first, but in general Wade thinks Heath is pretty awesome. He copies just about everything Heath does. He will do almost anything Heath asks him to do. And most importantly to Heath, Heath's jokes are always funny to him.
Yesterday, while I was getting ready in the bathroom, the boys were playing in my room. As usual for Heath and Wade it involved climbing on and off and all over my bed that I had just made. Heath was dangling off the edge of the bed yelling for Wade to come help him, even though he's perfectly capable of touching the ground himself-that wasn't the point of the game. So Wade comes running to his aid! Wade is doing his best at trying to lift Heath back up onto the bed, when Heath has a stroke of genius!
"Transform into a stool Wade!"
Obediently Wade transforms (complete with his own sound effects) into a stool and scoots under Heath's feet. I watch Heath literally walking all over his brothers back, while Wade's little body is doing its best to stay tucked into a ball. Then Heath has another great idea
"Okay Wade, now transform into a trampoline!"

be still my heart! do you sometimes just try to find the picture that is certain to make my heart jump into my throat? goodness, friend, i sure do love your children. look at wade's little belly hanging out of that shirt! and heath's little dimples! AGHHH!
